About SWC

The Smart Workplace Council (SWC) is a peer network of senior real estate and workplace service executives who convene to share best practices in office space optimization and high performance workplace implementation. Its mission is to promote the use of robust analytics to support real estate strategy development and implementation. Members meet quarterly in-person and virtually. The Council is focused on the following topics:

  • Evaluation and adoption of alternative workspace strategies (AWS)
  • The science of right-sizing: re-balancing the ratio, quality, and area of space types to align physical space with the way work gets done today
  • Employee mobility and productivity in the workplace
  • Real time analytics for space optimization
  • Predictive analytics for space planning
